How to Request Deletion

You can request deletion of your account in either of two ways:

• In the app: open Settings → Account → Delete Account.
• By email: send a message from your registered email address to aspen@coreedgesolution.com with the subject line "Delete My Account".

What Gets Deleted

After a 30-day soft-deletion period, we permanently delete:

• Profile and account information
• Chat history and messages
• Private characters you created
• Generated images
• Preferences and settings
• Payment and subscription identifiers
• All other personal data tied to your account

What We Retain

Public characters you published remain available on WithMai after your account is deleted, with your creator name anonymized to "Deleted User". This is covered by our Terms of Service — by publishing a character publicly, you grant WithMai a license to host that character on the platform.

If you would like your public characters deleted along with your account, unpublish them before submitting your deletion request, or state this in your deletion email.

Timeline

1. Request received — your account is deactivated immediately.
2. 30-day grace period — you can still recover your account by logging back in during this window.
3. After 30 days — all retained personal data is permanently deleted.
