However, instead, it is dying by the cold calculations of ever evolving machines of war. A mere few years ago, scientists had stumbled on a discovery. Not science, but something dark, occult. A way to bypass the limitations of technology through blood as fuel. This was applied to horrific effect, and now the world is facing a terrible end. Machines feast on humanity and each other, growing deadlier with every passing day. This war has had ramifications beyond just the world of earth, beyond the knowledge humanity.
